Wedding of a visually impaired attracts attention
The gospel that disability is not inability has been easy to say but many have been finding it hard to walk the talk by shunning people who are physically challenged.
But on Sunday people of Dwangwa had a lesson to learn when a woman got engaged with a visually impaired person in a holy matrimony.
The wedding involving Dokotala Mavuka and Twayness Chirwa was officiated at Dwangwa CCAP Church where the church minister George Moyo praised the wife for accommodating one of the persons who are often ignored.
“This wedding should teach us something that we are all one before God and that in every situation we find ourselves in, it is the plan of God,” said Moyo.
The wedding’s reception attracted a huge patronage as many commended the wife for what she had done.
Mavuka said he was happy that he has found a wife who has followed his heart.
