Gospel musician Wendy Harawa has resurfaced with a new project that aims at preaching the gospel worldwide.
The ‘Mundisunge Ndinu’ artist said Tuesday she was working with a number of artists including Maranatha Goro from Namibia and Guardian Angel from Kenya.
Wendy has already done a song with Zambian artist Kings Mumbi.
Mumbi has since described the song titled ‘God is Working on Me’, as powerful.
Wendy said she is also planning to work with other artists from South Africa and Zimbabwe.
“I am also looking at connecting with artists from Uganda and Tanzania,” Wendy said.
She said that the first song will be out next week and that the others will follow back to back.
Maranatha who is one of the renowned gospel acts in Namibia said yesterday she was happy to work with Wendy describing the collaboration as a huge experience.
“I am very much excited to be doing collaboration with Wendy Harawa. It is an awesome experience. Once we make progress in the whole project, we will be posting pictures and updates on our social media platforms. This is also all about crossing African boundaries through music,” Maranatha said.
Guardian Angel also said he was happy to have connected with Wendy.
“Yes we are working on a song together with Wendy. She got my contact through one of the people who run awards and we agreed to collaborate,” he said.
