Wendy Harawa to work with Uganda’s Levixone

After her exploits with Namibian gospel star Maranatha Goroh and Kenyan musician Guardian Angel, Wendy Harawa is now set to collaborate with Ugandan gospel star Levixone.
Wendy is expected to leave the country this weekend for Uganda to work with the Ugandan musician, real name Sam Lucas Lubyogo, famous for songs such as ‘Turn the Replay’ and ‘Chikibombe’.
The singer and dancer, who went gospel after turning born again, is on an international initiative of ministering the word of God to the world through music.
“Levixone is a great artist, his vocals are great and he is the minister of God and, so, I am looking forward to this collaboration. I also like Ugandan music and so this will be another gift for Malawi and Uganda and Africa as a whole,” she said Wednesday.
Levixone could not be reached for a comment Wednesday.
Wendy has so far released ‘Akuwona”, in which she collaborated with Guardian Angel. The track has since been nominated for Best Collaboration Song in the Maranatha Awards USA.
The artist, who has also been nominated as Female Minister of the Year, is set to release her song ‘Kuhambelela’, in which she collaborated with Goroh Friday which turns out to be her birthday.
“We were supposed to release it earlier but we had some hiccups and so I just felt I should do it on my birthday and it will all be good as this will be a birthday present to people,” she said.
