Wolves men put up a spirited performance to defeat Tanzanian side Mbeya Best VI 3-2 in a pulsating Fisd International Volleyball tournament final at Katoto Volleyball Courts in Mzuzu.
Coach Sakurai Mbanda said Wolves have angered last year’s semifinal defeat they suffered at the hands of Mbeya.
“This is a sign that volleyball is progressing in the country. Mbeya are the best and we are happy to have dethroned them. We started preparations last year by recruiting players and we have reaped the rewards,” Mbanda said.
