Radio and Television followers should be on the lookout for a brand-new programme called ‘Bwenzi Lathu’ which starts airing on Times radio and television from June 12.
The programme will take followers on a documentary trail that will track success stories among communities and catalogues development work that World Vision Malawi (WVM) is carrying out.
“Through Bwenzi Lathu programme, we aim at spearheading behaviour change communication on a number of issues affecting the education, health and wellbeing of children in Malawi,” Catherine Omenda, who is WVM’s Interim National Director, said.
Bwenzi Lathu will be broadcast on Times Television every Saturday from 6pm and a rebroadcast of the programme will be on Tuesday 6:30pm whilst on radio, it will be hitting the airwaves every Thursday from 6:30pm and repeated on Saturday from 10:30am.
“We look at Bwenzi Lathu as a platform to discuss key issues in health and hygiene, food security and resilience as well as the education of young people. Through the programme, we will also celebrate the milestones achieved by different Malawians in working with us,” she said.
