Young Travellers Theatre shows potential
Young Travellers Theatre led by Imran Shabani on Friday night performed for the first time at HS Winehouse in Blantyre.
The youthful theatre group which started in 2012 failed to pull a huge audience but those who came were impressed with their performance.
The group staged a play titled Elections Day that rekindled memories of the 2014 elections highlighting some of the things that happened including the time the results were being announced.
Although the group need to polish up some of the scenes, they engaged the audience during the performance and no wonder they earned praise from renowned actor, Tawonga Nkhonjera, who said the group was professional but needed to improve on certain areas
