“Gong’a means ‘Nkhwangwa’ or not so good looking woman. The song has got a strong message of comfort. I am comforting a lady who is heartbroken and thinks she cannot be loved by anymore.” he added.

Promoter Wachipeta Mkandawire said they decided to bring the artist in time for fear of disappointing fans in the last minute.

“You might be aware that it’s not easy for most Malawians to trust you these days when you are holding shows and an international artist from abroad is involved unless they see him or her. Now we are saying that the artist is already here in Malawi and ready for the show,” said Mkandawire.

Some of the artists Soldier Lucius Banda of Zembani Band, Sam Simakweli, Nepman, Lambanie Dube, Wendy Harawa, Shozie, Wachipeta Mkandawire are some of the artist to perform at all venues.
