After creating a brand name in the country with fun packed six seasons on radio, Zathu is back in the limelight with Season Seven.
A press statement, says Zathu was happy to bring Season Seven that will continue from the escapades of Season six and the other previous editions.
The statement further says that Season Seven will hit the airwaves on October 5 2020 with exciting storylines.
In Season Seven, Zathu band characters will continue on their journeys of self-discovery while channeling their own strengths, growing through their challenges and supporting each other as friends but also as a band.
The statement says Season Seven continues to zero in on Chikondi’s relationship with Avocado as they settle in their relationship despite their challenges in the beginning with Chikondi unsure of her feelings for Avocado and questioning his intentions for her.
Their love story has reached new heights, but not without its own challenges both from within themselves and the people around them.
Now, will Chikondi find the answers to the questions she is seeking? Who will she turn to for answers to some of the most pressing questions she has never confronted before? How does the rest of the band support her in her new quest for information as they also attempt to grow their music and take career to beyond Mamzoli?
These are the answers that people will get to know when they journey with Zathu in Season Seven by tuning in to the radio show.
As has always been the case throughout the previous seasons, youthful Zathu presenters C-Zee and DJ Goxy will travel across the country to meet different young people as they learn about Season Seven and share their inspiring stories with the duo.
In the Zathu package, there is the Timve Kwa Inu section which carries conversations around seeking the right healthcare information and sharing the benefits of open conversations with their friends as they are growing up.
The statement says that another exciting twist in Season Seven is the introduction of Aunt Nelly as agony aunt. Aunt Nelly is set to take the role of answering some of the most pressing questions that young people send her and offers friendly advice and practical guides.
Meanwhile, on top of everything in Zathu, there is also another smashing competition where young people will have a chance to win prizes and for them to stand a chance, they are supposed to listen to the show.
Season Seven starts on October 5 and airs on MBC Radio 2, Monday at 3.30pm with a repeat on Saturday at 5pm and Yoneco FM, Wednesday 3.30pm with a repeat on Saturday at 4.30pm.
