Speaking in an interview after the performance, JP described Season five as great in that it has built a strong base amongst the youths who have followed the drama and the band.

“We are trying to promote the off-season and the new song. The band has performed for the first time at the event so we are encouraging the youths to go back on radio and get to understand better what was happening in the season,” JP said

JP then advised youths in the country to be focused in order to attain their goals.

While encouraging the youths to listen to Season five repeats, JP then disclosed that Season six will be launched next year.

”Right now we are getting prepared for the Episode six which has so much interesting issues. For instance, in Season six, JP and Chikondi are not in good terms as chikondi is now dating Avocado,” he said.

Commenting on the new track ‘Mzati’, JP said the song was expressing a key issue on how “we can build child and parent relationship”.

In her remarks, Phiri, winner of the award that ensured that Zathu Band performs at her school, said she aspires to be a dramatist one day.

She received some items such as a T-shirt as a winner.
