Zoona plans new services
Zoona plaus to introduce a savings platform before the end of this month.
The company’s Managing Director Kilyelyani Kanjo said the move is aimed at boosting the company’s business while also supporting the financial inclusion agenda.
The announcement comes barely a month after the company reduced charges of its services by up to 85 percent, in a move that was described as a response to customer needs.
Kanjo further said Zoona plans to establish a mobile wallet service where customers will be able to make payments for various services.
“We will be introducing many new products. We are looking at establishing products that can appeal to people who have issues with banking,” Kanjo said.
She said as technology advances, Zoona is also striving to be innovative to meet customer demands.
“We realise that technology is changing the face of the world and we cannot be left behind. But we are also mindful that basic needs remain the same,” Kanjo said.
