Ambassadors representing 10 countries from various parts of the globe Tuesday presented their letters of credence to President Lazarus Chakwera to officially signify the beginning of their respective diplomatic tours.
They are from Angola, Canada, Cuba, Cyprus, France, Hungary, Korea, Serbia, Sierra Leone and Uganda. They are resident in other countries but designated to Malawi too.
Speaking at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe after the envoys had met President Lazarus Chakwera, French Ambassador David Martinon said his country is committed to helping Malawi in its socioeconomic development.
