Gospel musician Rudo Mkukupa Chakwera has dropped a new track titled ‘The Blood’ that talks of the significance of the blood that Jesus Christ shed on Calvary.
The song comes out as Christians on Easter Sunday celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Mkukupa Chakwera, who is a graduate of music from the University of Malawi and comes from a music family, said yesterday that the song is an Easter special gift.
“The song is there to remind people of the price that Jesus Christ paid for us on the cross. I just had to do this song and I have worked with Jahkale,” she said.

Recorded at Gpro Studio by Gift Chitsamba, Mkukupa Chakwera, described the song as powerful and called upon people to listen to it.
“This is just a single. It is not that I am working on a project,” she said.
Mkukupa Chakwera has three albums to her credit namely Anandifera, Rudo and the UK Family and Sindingasunthike.
