The Non-Governmental Organisations Regulatory Authority (Ngora) has deregistered the Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) for allegedly failing to comply with statutory reporting and governance requirements.
Ngora has also deregistered 35 other organisations, including Africa Future Foundation; National Cooperation Business Association (CLUSA International); Orphan Care Malawi Project; Orphan Widow, AIDS, Campaign Organization; Farmers Forum for Trade and Social Justice (FAFOTRAJ); Nanzikambe Arts Development Organization; National Association for People Living with HIV/AIDS in Malawi; Society for Women and AIDS in Malawi; Project Child Malawi; Pamudzi Community Trust; Research For Equity and Community Health-Trust; and Training Support for Partners.
