Crowd-pullers FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have settled for Joyce Chitsulo Stadium in Mwanza district as their second home for the 2026 season.
Bullets Chief Executive Officer Albert Chigoga said the move will help the team to reach out to its supporters who live along the Malawi- Mozambique border.
“There are times that our home Kamuzu Stadium has been booked, putting us in an awkward position. So we thought it wise to consider taking the team to our supporters in the border district of Mwanza. This will help us to boost our revenue as we will open the market to our supporters from Mozambique who are residing near Mwanza border,” Chigoga said.
This will be the first time for Bullets to use the newly-built match facility.
Meanwhile, Chigoga said they are arranging friendly matches to help the team finalise preparations for the new season.

“We have plans to play several friendly matches as we prepare for our Charity Shield match against Mighty Wanderers [on April 18]. We will communicate the teams we will play against in due course. But we are having a great preseason,” he said.
Last weekend, Super League of Malawi announced that the 2026 FDH Bank Premiership will commence on April 25 with champions Wanderers hosting Karonga United at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Bullets will kick off the new league with a crunching tie against Civil Service United at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.
