Some Super League clubs are expected to get compensation from the World football governing body, Fifa, for releasing their players to take part in the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.
This comes after Fifa adjusted the Fifa Club Benefits Programme (CBP) to allow every club whose players have been directly involved in the qualifiers to get a share of the solidarity fund.
