Newly promoted TNM Super League side Creck Sporting Club back-to-back wins have motivated them to arrive in Blantyre on Thursday for their crunch tie against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers on Saturday.
Creck lie second on the 16-member log table with six points from two matches, having scored six goals and conceded three.
The club’s chairperson Muhammad Selemani said they plan to arrive in Blantyre on Thursday to acclimatise and fine tune before facing fourth-placed Wanderers, who thrashed Fomo 3-0 at Mulanje Park Stadium on Sunday.
“The move will help the players to acclimatise to Blantyre weather and also help take away the pressure of playing away in Blantyre.
“This will be our first time playing away from home. This is also our first time to play in Blantyre. We want to give the coaches ample time to train the players and have a feel of Blantyre City before the match. The match against Wanderers is tough and needs to be treated seriously,” Selemani said.

On Sunday, Creck twice came from behind to beat Moyale Barracks 3-2 at Nankhaka Stadium.
Coach Macdonald Nginde Mtetemelera described the win as a stepping stone in their quest to stay in the top flight league.
Mtetemera, however, said his charges need to be cautious by treating each match seriously.
“We conceded two goals against Moyale and a goal when we won 3-1 against Tigers during our opening match. This tells us that we need to improve in defence.

“We are new in the league and, definitely, we will make things fine. We will be heading to Blantyre this week and we need to work on our mental strength because this is a big match,” Mtetemera said.
Creck, whose patron is Apostle Clifford Kawinga, spent over K30 million on beefing up the squad before their top flight league debut.
Meanwhile, Silver are leading the log table with six points from two matches.
The Bankers beat Bangwe All Stars 3-1 on Sunday.
