Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc last week donated K100 million to go towards the Tropical Cyclone Freddy recovery drive.
The initiative is under the Goodwill Ambassadors for Tropical Cyclone Freddy Recovery led by former presidents Bakili Muluzi and Joyce Banda.
The funds will be used for construction of houses for survivors in Chikwawa District as part of the ‘Tigwirane Manja Campaign’ initiated by President Lazarus Chakwera.
