President Lazarus Chakwera arrived in Blantyre Tuesday via Chileka International Airport to lead the John Chilembwe Day commemoration, which is scheduled to take place today at Providence Industrial Mission in Chiradzulu District.
He was welcomed by government and party officials before greeting the crowd gathered at the Clock Tower, awaiting his arrival. The President then disembarked from his vehicle and joined the crowd for a walk along Haile Selassie Road.
