Award-winnning gospel group – Masintha CCAP Chitsitsimutso Women’s Choir yesterday cheered patients at the cancer ward at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.
The group donated items such as flour, soya pieces, salt and soap worth over K2.5 million.
Masintha Chitsitsimutso Women’s Choir lead singer Judith Dzonzi said the group believes in serving beyond music hence donating to the patients.
Dzonzi said the donation is part of its charity works as it continues to minister the word of God through music.

“We have a lot of work to do apart from singing. Some of our songs encourage people to share when facing challenges in life,” she said.
Dzonzi further said that the group will continue helping people affected by different problems in the country.
This is not the first time; the choir has reached out to the needy as last year during its 35th anniversary also made a donation to Kachere Prison in Lilongwe.
