Hubertus Clausius Malawi Limited Tuesday renewed its partnership with FCB Nyasa Big Bullets with the assurance that it would continue awarding the team’s player of the month.
Hubertus has since increased the amount from K200,000 to K300,000 for the best player of the month.
The firm’s finance director Malinda Chinyama said they believe the prizes will continue motivating players.
“The agreement started sometime back but it was yet to be formalised. We have increased the prize amount, which we will be giving out within two weeks. We are hoping that this will motivate players,” Chinyama said.

Chinyama further disclosed that the agreement is for three years, subject to review every year.
Bullets Chief Executive Officer Suzgo Nyirenda was grateful to the firm for the commitment.
“We are thankful for the gesture because this will enhance competition in the team and will result in improved performance of the team. The players will be the beneficiaries as they are recipients of the awards but the whole Bullets family is happy and we promise to give back to them by promoting the company’s products,” Nyirenda.
Hubertus partnered Bullets for the agreement in 2022 but there was inconsistency in the awards last season.
