Malawi has taken a major step towards unlocking climate finance and green investment opportunities with the country’s first ever Carbon Market Framework, which has now been approved.
A press release from the Ministry of Natural Resources, dated August 15, 2025, indicates that the framework was officially approved by Cabinet on July 23, 2025.
