The Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) has urged producers to align their systems with a new product certification scheme which the bureau is set to roll out.
The new system would enable the country’s products to be competitive on the global market.
The system is based on ISO/IEC 17065 standard, which specifies requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services.
