Three Bangwe All Stars youngsters have been invited for trials by Saudi Arabian second tier side Al Faisaly following their impressive form in the TNM Super League.
Malawi National Football Team budding playmaker Robert Gomez Saizi and his two teammates Emmanuel Lino and Chikumbutso Salima, who is on-loan from FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, are expected to undergo trials from September 25 in the oil-producing country.
Bangwe owner Mphatso Jika confirmed the development Monday, saying they are finalising visa processes ahead of their departure next week.
“We were waiting for an invitation letter and they sent it on Friday last week. We are now processing visas to enable them to travel to Saudi Arabia.
“We will shed more light later as we are busy working on the logistics regarding the impending trip,” Jika said.

However, Bullets have demanded a formal invitation to allow Salima to attend the trials.
“We understand it is an agent facilitating the trials. As Bullets, we would like to be written officially about our player before getting excited about it,” the club’s chief administration officer Albert Chigoga said.
Meanwhile, one of the country’s football analysts Roy Abramo M’dechi tipped the trio to excel.
“These are young players who have shown great talent and the desire to learn and push their careers to another level. I do not see them coming back,” he said.
