The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has said annual tuition fees for public universities will remain at K1.3 million, ruling out any reduction despite concerns over affordability.
Minister of Education Bright Msaka told Parliament Thursday that the decision followed extensive consultations and was necessitated by the rising cost of running colleges and universities since the last fee adjustment in 2023.
