TNM Super League leaders FCB Nyasa Big Bullets have said they will not contest Super League of Malawi (Sulom) Disciplinary Committee’s decision on misconduct.
This comes after Sulom Tuesday fined Bullets K1 million for being found guilty of misconduct following the incident that happened after their 3-3 stalemate against Karonga United at Kamuzu Stadium where some supporters smashed the team’s bus last month.
Sulom, in a statement on Tuesday, says Bullets have also been banned from Kamuzu Stadium for the remainder of the season.
“The ban is however, suspended for three months. This means that if FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is found in breach of conduct within the next three months from now, then the ban will automatically be activated,” the statement reads.
According to Sulom, the fines are payable before the next official and failure will lead to points deduction.

This means Bullets must pay the fine before they host Dedza Dynamos at Kamuzu Stadium this Saturday.
But in reaction to the verdict yesterday, Bullets Chief Executive Officer Albert Chigoga described it as fair.
“It is a fair decision for us. We feared for the worse. As a club, we will make sure that our supporters exercise discipline during and after the matches,” Chigoga said.
Some supporters stoned the team’s bus after Bullets surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 against Karonga in the TNM Super League match.

The latest verdict comes two weeks’ after Sulom also fined Bullets K5.7 million for misconduct during their match against Blue Eagles last month.
The incident happened in the 75th minute of the match when a fan descended from the stand and stole a towel belonging to former Eagles goalkeeper Joshua Waka (now with Ekhaya FC). The unknown fan beat the home team’s security detail, made his way to Eagles goalkeeper area and stole the towel before making his way back to the stand.
Bullets lost to Eagles 1-0.
Currently, Bullets are top of the log table with 40 points from 17 matches, one point above second-placed Mighty Wanderers.
