Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Coach Mark Harrison was left frustrated after Moyale Barracks fought back to force a one-all draw with the Lali Lubani side in a TNM Super League match at Kamuzu Stadium yesterday.
The draw saw Wanderers’ lead at the top being cut to four from five points.
Wanderers top the table with 47 points from 24 games while defending champions FCB Nyasa Big Bullets lie second with 43 points but have four games in hand.
Reacting after the draw, Harrison felt that his strikers squandered a lot of scoring opportunities which gave Moyale a chance to fight back.
“It is disappointing giving away a one-nil lead. Our performance was below par as our strikers were blunt.

“Gaddie [Chirwa] and [Christopher] Kumwembe would have finished it off but they both missed chances. We blew off a massive opportunity to win at home today,” he said.
During the match, captain Stanley Sanudi put Wanderers ahead in the 16th minute following an assist from Chirwa.
However, the Lions of Kaning’ina hit back where it matters most after Hassan Upindi equalised a minute to full time.
In a post-match interview, Moyale Coach Victor Chingoka congratulated his troops for snatching a point.

“I told my boys to pressurise Wanderers in their half. This worked pretty well as we got an equaliser. I am happy with the result,” he said.
Moyale remain on position 11 on the log table with 30 points from 24 games.
In another match, Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar came from behind to beat Blue Eagles 2-1 at Dedza Stadium.
Christopher Gototo put Eagles in the lead but Charles Chipala equalised before Simeon Singa scored the winner.
