The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and UTM are in a verbal war regarding the leadership of the former’s presidential candidate Peter Mutharika.
UTM president Dalitso Kabambe told a rally on the campaign trail that Mutharika, who is DPP’s presidential candidate in the September 16, 2025 election, failed to run the country when he was State president and even Cabinet minister.
