Farmers Union of Malawi (Fum) has faulted the National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA) for pegging the maize purchasing price below the minimum farmgate price.
On Monday, NFRA announced that it had reduced the buying price of maize from K55,000 to K42,000 per 50 kilogramme (kg) bag of maize.
