Midfielder Francisco Madinga has re-joined Mighty Mukuru Wanderers after leaving Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy at the end of last season.
Madinga has signed a two-year contract with the Lali Lubani outfit.
He was unveiled yesterday at the club house.
Wanderers Chief Executive Officer Roosevelt Mpinganjira confirmed that Madinga joined as a free agent.
“He is back to where he belongs. We are excited and we hope he will improve the performance of the team,” Mpinganjira said.

Madinga is the first player to join the club in the ongoing player transfer window, which closes on August 14.
He was not readily available for his comment Tuesday.
The talented midfielder moved to Botswana last year after leaving Georgian club FC Dira Gori.
In his last season at Gori, he scored two goals but struggled for game time due to injuries.

Madinga starred for the Flames during the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) finals in Cameroon last year.
He provided one assist for striker Gabadinho Mhango’s goal in the 2-1 victory over Zimbabwe in the group stages.
He also featured for the Flames from the bench in a 2-1 victory over Ethiopia in the 2023 Afcon qualifiers at Bingu National Stadium last year.
Wanderers Coach Mark Harrison said he was excited with the signing of Madinga.
“We have just completed the signing of Madinga. We need at least two or three players but realistically it is not easy. We might only get one or two in this window,’’ Harrison said.
Wanderers have been linked with several players including TNM Super League leading goal scorer Clement Nyondo of Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar, free agent Khuda Muyaba and Civil Service United midfielder Lloyd Aaron.
However, Dedza have already rejected a bid from Silver on Nyondo
