The buying of electricity from neighbouring Mozambique faces a fresh hiccup, at a time Energy Minister Jean Mathanga has indicated that Malawi and Mozambique’s government officials are discussing the issue of tariffs that can be fair to Malawians.
Ministry of Energy figures indicate that Malawi is generating about 551 megawatts (mw) of electricity against national demand, which exceeds 700mw.
