There is controversy over a proposed deal by the Public Service Pension Trust Fund (PSPTF) to purchase Yusuf Investments Limited, trading as Amaryllis Hotel.
The social media has been awash with documents indicating PSPTF’s intention to purchase the luxurious hotel, which is situated in Blantyre, at K128,750,000,000.
However, the bone of contention is documents purportedly showing the proposed payment of funds that are far above property valuation results.
