Lake of Stars (LoS) Festival has announced its partnership with Malawi Airlines, which will fly artists across Africa to the annual event.
The event returns to the fold in September after a long hiatus.
The festival, which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year as well as 60 years of Malawi’s independence, will be held at Fish Eagle Bay in Nkhotakota for the first time from September 6 to 8.
In a press statement, Lake of Stars Festival describes the partnership with Malawi Airlines as exciting and that the collaboration not only enhances the cultural experience of festival goers but also supports Malawi’s cultural and economic development.
“As part of this partnership to amplify regional tourism access, festival attendees who purchase their Lake of Stars Festival tickets will receive 15 percent discount on flights when flying in for the festival this year from any Malawi Airlines route,” the statement reads.
