“Sports is very critical for the nation. Encouraging sports in the country in particular for the university is very critical for the young people to motivate them to go to the university. When they see fellow youngsters playing in Super League and national team they will be motivated to go to university and participate in sports,” Kaunda said.
Mitundu president Maclean Chimwenje hailed Luanar for the timely partnership, saying the team would survive relegation in its maiden season.
“This is a big motivation to the players and management of the team. With the partnership, things will be easy and the team will bring results,” Chimwenje said.
