Reggae group Black Missionaries, popularly known as Ma Blacks, said Tuesday that people will sample their new songs this year.
The group’s lead vocalist Anjiru Fumulani said they were supposed to release two singles last month but due to other challenges, they have shifted to this month.
“The songs are ready but we decided to hold them for now because we want to have both audios and videos on the ground together,” Anjiru said.
He maintained that they have taken a different approach in doing things and that it was no longer business the usual way.
“In the past years, we have taken a break to go to the studio and work on an album for a month but this time, we will be working on singles and then we drop them one by one then we will compile them into an album,” Anjiru said.
He said they will sustain their Kuimba series despite changing the concept.
“We will keep pace with the singles and then compile them into an album,” Anjiru said.
