The Miss Malawi pageant has opened the 2026 registration period.
Organisers have since called upon young women across the country to register and participate in the beauty pageant.
The application period runs from February 1 to March 31, 2026.
According to organisers, applicants need to pay a registration fee of K30,000, among other things.

The applicant also needs to be aged between 18 and 29 and be a holder of at least a Malawi School Certificate of Education certificate or higher qualification.
The winner will represent Malawi, locally and internationally, for a year.
Miss Malawi Public Relations Officer Stephen Mdala said the pageant had been transformed.
“We want a true ambassador who can represent Malawi with dignity,” Mdala said.
