National Bank of Malawi (NBM) plc is scheduled to host an invitational golf tournament at Lilongwe Golf Club (LGC) Saturday.
NBM Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager Akossa Hiwa said the tournament has been dubbed ‘Inspire Greatness Golf’.
Hiwa said the bank feels excited to return after an absence due to various factors including Covid restrictions.
“We really missed this stage and it is exciting to be back. We see this as an opportune moment to interact with our customers through the sport,” Hiwa said.
She also emphasised the broader significance of the invitational tournament.

“With a commitment to excellence in both finance and sportsmanship, this tournament transcends the realm of golf. It is a convergence of business minds, a testament to shared values and an opportunity for participants to strengthen relationships beyond the boardroom,” Hiwa said.
LGC Captain Duncan Chidzankufa hailed NBM for the sponsorship.
