Old Mutual Malawi has launched the Pink Potential Development Programme, a three-day initiative aimed at nurturing female leaders within the organisation.
The programme, launched on Wednesday, is being facilitated by Sarah Richson of Richemele International, and brings together women from different business units for intensive leadership training.
Old Mutual Malawi Chief Financial Officer Vera Zulu said the initiative underscores the company’s commitment to empowering women and promoting gender equity in leadership positions.
“We are committed to advancing gender equity and equipping women to take up diverse leadership roles,” she said.
In her presentation, Richson described the programme as a timely intervention designed to strengthen leadership capacity among women within the corporate space.

“This programme aims to uplift women in the roles they already hold. It will help them become better leaders, improve their performance and build confidence to take on greater responsibilities,” Richson said.
One of the participants, Rita Shaba, expressed appreciation for the initiative, saying it has already begun to positively impact her professional outlook.
