Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Simplex Chithyola Banda Monday tore into the State of the Nation Address (Sona) delivered by Peter Mutharika in Parliament on Friday.
Chithyola Banda argued that the speech failed to address the lived realities of ordinary Malawians.
He said the address contained serious omissions on critical socio-economic issues and did not offer an inclusive or hopeful pathway towards economic recovery.
