Football Association of Malawi (Fam) risks paying former Malawi National Football Team coach Patrick Mabedi about K916 million as compensation for unlawful and unfair dismissal, court documents reveal.
The staggering figure, contained in a witness statement filed by Mabedi’s legal team, spans 13 separate heads of relief and will be argued before the Industrial Relations Court (IRC) on April 28, after Thursday’s hearing was adjourned at Fam’s request.
