President Peter Mutharika says he is pleased with the progress his administration has made during its first year in office, but acknowledged that more work is needed to rebuild the country.
In an interview aired on state broadcaster Malawi Broadcasting Corporation last night, marking his first year in office, Mutharika commended Malawians for supporting his administration and highlighted food security, road rehabilitation, economic recovery, free secondary education and debt restructuring among its achievements.
