President Peter Mutharika Tuesday withheld consent from the recently passed Constituency Development Fund (CDF) Constitution (Amendment) Bill of 2025.
The bill, which was unanimously passed by Parliament late last year, seeks to amend the Constitution by introducing a new chapter on the CDF.
The proposed chapter outlines the purpose of the fund, its governance framework and the guiding principles for the management and utilisation of CDF resources.
