Pharmaceutical Society of Malawi (Phasom) has called for direct importation of drugs by Central Medical Stores Trust (CMST) to address the problem of drug shortages in the country.
This comes at a time public hospitals have run out of essential drugs, including those for blood pressure, painkillers, among others.
