The Malawi Police Service (MPS) is operating from a temporary camp in Ngabu as it intensifies an operation to end mob violence linked to false rumours about missing male private parts in Chikwawa and Nsanje districts.
Commissioner of Police for the South East Region, Frank Kumukumu, said more than 90 people have been arrested so far, with further arrests expected as the operation continues.
