Speakers at Kamuzu Day commemorations Thursday linked Malawi’s current economic challenges to what they described as the founding president’s legacy of hard work and agricultural development, as the country continues to face shortages of foreign exchange and fuel.
People from all walks of life gathered at Kamuzu Mausoleum to honour the late Hastings Kamuzu Banda, with family members, clergy, the diplomatic community, traditional leaders and government officials in attendance.
