Local boxing referee Gift Patsanja has cemented his boxing credentials after securing a World Boxing Council (WBC) certificate, meaning that he is eligible to officiate and judge WBC International fights across the world.
Malawi Professional Boxing Control Board (MPBCB) President Lonzoe ‘Defector’ Zimba confirmed the development, saying Patsanja secured the certificate after attending a WBC Convention in Bangkok, Thailand, two weeks ago.
