Speaker of the National Assembly Sameer Suleman has said the National Assembly will not contest President Peter Mutharika’s decision to postpone the parliamentary meeting that was scheduled for this month.
This follows Malawi Law Society (MLS)’s advice to the Speaker.
MLS has asked him to reconsider his stand to comply with Mutharika’s directive to delay the Mid- Year Budget Review Meeting.
