Rapper Suffix said Monday that he is good to go to release his third album titled Tailora on May 24 2024.
The album will be made available on all streaming platforms following what he described as a successful listening session in Lilongwe on Saturday.
The artist held a listening session and special live performance for the 12-track album at Coco’s August House in Area 10.
He indicated that he planned to accommodate at least 50 patrons but close to 70 people showed up for the event.
“I am going in the right direction in the sense that, having dropped the track list, I have followed it up with the listening session, which I enjoyed. Now is the time to have it on the market.

It has been a nice journey working on this project,” the ‘Mkazi wa Kumwamba’ maker said.
He said the listening session was engaging.
“I did that intentionally. We made sure that there was a screen with song lyrics displayed whilst playing the whole album. Fans were free to comment on issues and ask questions.
“Sometimes, we just take it for granted that all is fine but people want to know how some songs were created,” Suffix said.

He described feedback from the audience as motivating, adding that he would continue to strive for quality in his works.
“This album, which is a dedication to my late mother, is about wrestling with the reality of death and the vanity of life but also living the moment,” the youthful artist said.
Some of the tracks that make up the album include ‘Si Lero’ featuring Driemo, ‘Yowe’ featuring Maggie Kadrum, ‘Kulera’, ‘Mbuzi’, ‘Mungobwera,’ ‘Ndikamasochera’ and ‘Miracle’ featuring Theresa Phondo.
The album was produced by Blage, Sir Odilo, BFB and Savage on the Beat.
His previous albums are Before I Sleep and To Whom It May Concern.
