While Malawians were struggling to find affordable maize flour for consumption late last year and early this year, Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (Admarc) maize flour called ‘Thanzi’ was rotting in its sales bans.
The rot, according to the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture and Irrigation, was a result of negligence from the beginning of the project to its implementation.
