Three people have died and six others injured in a car accident that occurred in Ntchisi District Friday.
Ntchisi Police Station spokesperson Salomy Zgambo identified a Toyota Land Cruiser that belongs to Nkhotakota District Hospital as the vehicle that was involved in the accident.
“The Land Cruiser hit a pedal cyclist and overturned. It [the occident] occurred at a place called Ching’amba on the M18 Road from Kasungu District to Nkhotakota District. Amos Kampira was driving the vehicle from Kasungu heading towards Nkhotakota while carrying eight passengers,” Zgambo said.

She said three people died while being treated at Malomo Hospital while six others have been admitted to a hospital in Kasungu, where they are being treated.
