Nigerian striker Babatunde Adepoju has expressed delight at returning to FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on a season-long loan deal from South African Venda Academy.
The gangling striker moved to Venda at the end of the 2022 season on a three-year contract for K50 million but failed to live up to expectations.
However, the Nigerian has been shipped back to Bullets after 12 months at the South African club. He told Bullets website that he was delighted to return to the club.
“It is a good feeling to be back. It is another adventure for me and I know God is going to see me through and give me the strength and ability to continue from where I stopped. I have been here before and I am not new to the system. I am looking forward to the season ahead,’’ he told the club’s website.
According to reports, Adepoju had offers from Uganda and a Danish side but he opted to return to Bullets.

He becomes the second player to join Bullets ahead of the 2024 season after midfielder Lloyd Aaron signed a three-year contract from Civil Service United.
“The team achieved a lot last season without me. I am just coming to add value to the team,” the former Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Masters Security striker said.
Adepoju won the TNM Super League golden boot award after scoring 18 goals in 2022 when Bullets, then, won a fourth straight title with a record 73 points.
